Oι Hardland δημιουργήθηκαν, από τους Μιχάλη Πρωτοψάλτη (κιθάρα - Hardways, Real Thing, Δειπνοσοφιστές), Κώστα Τάνη (τύμπανα - Hardways, Real Thing, Δειπνοσοφιστές) και Σταύρο Παπαδόπουλο (κιθάρα / φωνή / παραγωγή - Super Vintage) τον Απρίλιο του 2016. To συγκρότημα παίζει κλασικό hard rock της δεκαετίας του ’70 και ’80. Πολύ γρήγορα τα τραγούδια του πρώτου άλμπουμ είναι έτοιμα και το συγκρότημα ξεκινά την ηχογράφησή του! Ο Σταύρος Παπαδόπουλος παραμένει στο ρόλο του παραγωγού και τις κιθάρες αναλαμβάνει εξολοκλήρου ο Μ. Πρωτοψάλτης, ενώ στο συγκρότημα μπαίνουν ο Κώστας Ταλταμπάνης (μπάσο - Πράσσειν Άλογα) και Άγγελος Γουζέτος (φωνή - Πράσσειν Άλογα). Τον Οκτώβριο του 2016 το πρώτο άλμπουμ είναι έτοιμο και το συγκρότημα μετά από έρευνα υπέγραψε με την New Dream Records.. O δίσκος κυκλοφόρησε 30/6/2017 με τίτλο το όνομα της μπάντας. Tο Δεκέμβριο του 2017 φεύγει ο Κ.Τάνης για λόγους υγείας και έρχεται ο Τόλης Γιαννούλης.Ξεκινάνε συναυλίες και προβάρουν καινούργιο υλικό για τον επόμενο δίσκο. Η μπάντα έχει ήδη τελειώσει τις ηχογραφήσεις του δεύτερου δίσκου τους με τίτλο Reach the sky. Την παραγωγή την ανέλαβε ο Τόλης Γιαννούλης και ο Γιάννης Γιαννούλης στο Gravity Studios . H New Dream Records το κυκλοφόρησε.

HardLand were formed in 2016,April by Michalis Protopsaltis(Guitarist of Hardways,Real Thing,Deipnosofistes), Kostas Tanis(Drummer of Hardways,Real Thing,Deipnosofistes) and Stavros Papadopoulos(Guitarist,Singer,Producer of Super Vintage,Freerock Saints). Strongly influenced by classic rock and hard rock of the 70's and 80's they started playing their own stuff based on Protopsaltis' ideas/riffs with Tanis' tempo arrangements while Papadopoulos wrote the lyrics and vox melodies for the tracks to be recorded at his studio. After some searching for a singer and a bass player, Angel Gouzetos(Singer of Prassein Aloga)along with bass player Kostas Taltabanis(Bass player of Prassein Aloga)joined the band and after many rehearsals they were ready to record their debut album at Freerock Recording Studio in Kavala city,Greece. In October 2016 with Papadopoulos as a producer/sound engineer and Protopsaltis playing all the Rhythm and Lead guitars they recorded eleven original hard rocking tracks. Finally the band signed with New Dream Record and on the thirtieth of June 2017 released their first album and the title of it was the name of the band Hardland. On December of 2017 Kostas Tanis leaves the band and Tolis Giannoulis comes and they start gigs and rehearsals for the new stuff . The band finished the recordings of the second album with the title Reach the Sky , at the Gravity studio . Tolis and Giannis Giannoulis are on the production . New Dream Records released it.
